How many races are there on each race night?
Racing at Meydan has 6-7 races per night and the Dubai World Cup Carnival has 8-9 races per night at 35-40 minute intervals, with gates opening an hour before the post time of the first race. It is recommended that you arrive at the Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse 30 minutes before the first race to allow time to find parking, reach your desired hospitality area, and complete the Pick 7 (prediction game) competition entry form which must be handed in 15 minutes before the start of the first race.

 
What kind of hospitality can I purchase?
  • Silks: guests can choose between a non-alcoholic buffet package and a buffet package inclusive of standard house beverages
  • Tiered Restaurant: Level 2&3 – 4 Course Set Menu with non-alcoholic beverages or 4 Course Set Menu including standard house beverages
  • Parade Ring Lounge – Mezzanine floor - Admission to bar area only where limited food and beverages can be purchased. Entry for 21 years of age and above only.
  • Premium Seating – Guaranteed seat opposite the finish line. Limited food & beverages are available for purchase from the food kiosks.
 
Will I be able to purchase food in the Grandstand?
Yes, we have a Food Court located in the Mezzanine Floor of the Grandstand and racegoers can purchase a wide selection of food and beverages from the kiosks.
 
Are there vegetarian items included on the menu?
Yes.
 
What are the Hospitality Package timings?
The hospitality and beverage package timing for Racing at Meydan is 4 hours. During the Dubai World Cup Carnival, the hospitality and beverage package timing is 5 hours. Kindly refer to the hospitality timings below :

What is the Dubai Racing Club children's policy?

Children’s Policy for Grandstand - Free Admission
  • All guests and children under the age of four years old (including children in push chairs or strollers) are allowed access to the free admission area of the Meydan Grandstand.
Children’s Policy for Hospitality Areas
  • Children under the age of 4 years old (including children in push chairs or strollers) are not allowed access to any of the hospitality areas throughout the Meydan Grandstand.
  • All guests, including children are required to wear a badge to enter all hospitality areas.
  • All children are required to pay full price to enter all hospitality areas, with the exception of Silks Buffet Restaurant, where children’s tickets (4-12 years) are priced at 50% of the adult price.
  • Guests entering the Parade Ring Lounge and Rider’s Up Lounge must be 21 years of age and above (proof of identity is required).
Children’s Policy for Horse Connection Lounge
  • Children between the ages of 4-12 years are required to purchase a hospitality badge for the Horse Connection Lounge at full adult price.
  • Children under the age of 4 years are granted free admission, however push chairs or strollers are strictly not permitted in the hospitality facilities of the Meydan Grandstand, including the Horse Connection Lounge.
 
What is the dress code for the race nights?
The dress code for the free admission area is casual attire. Smart attire is required of those entering the Meydan Grandstand hospitality area. Women are encouraged to wear hats and racewear, though it is optional. T-shirts, trainers and shorts are strictly prohibited in the Meydan Grandstand.

*Please note: Jeans, t-shirts, trainers and shorts are strictly prohibited in the Parade Ring.


Where is the Ticket Sales Office located?
The Dubai Racing Club Ticket Sales Office is located before the entrances and in between Gate B and Gate C of the Meydan Grandstand, and is open from 8.00am to 8.00pm; Sundays to Thursdays and on weekend days if it is a raceday, from November 6, 2011 - March 30, 2012. It is recommended that you collect all badges prior to the racenight to simplify admission on the night itself.
 
Can someone else collect my badges on my behalf?
Yes. Provided they bring the booking confirmation.
 
Can I have my badges couriered?
Yes at a fee. Please specify when making the booking by selecting the correct courier option when booking online.
 
Can I Receive my badges at another location, is this possible?
You can always change the delivery address until about 2-4 weeks prior to the race. Please note it is your responsibility to notify us in advance of a change in delivery address.
 
I will be moving house within the next months and do not yet know my new delivery address, can I leave the field blank?
No, just fill out your current address until you know your new address.
 
Can I cancel my order because I cannot make it to the race?
Yes. We accept cancellations 8 weeks prior to the booked race night.
 

Do you offer hotel and flight bookings?

No. We recommend that a local travel agent or tour operator is contacted to assist with hotel and flight bookings.

What competitions can I enter on race nights?

A prediction ‘Pick7’ competition is held every racenight. Entry for the competition is free of charge and the winners will be announced on the night itself in the Parade Ring following the last race. The winner must present a photo ID in order to claim the prize.
The ‘Triple Tri’ competition is free to enter and is applicable for the final three races of the evening’s race programme.
Al Basti Lucky Draw - All racegoers will receive a complimentary lucky draw ticket at the entrance Gates, which entitles them to a chance of winning cash prizes.
Where can I purchase official merchandise?
An exclusive range of merchandise will be available from the Meydan Grandstand Gift Shop located at Concourse B and from the kiosk at Concourse A.

Will taxis be available at the end of the racenight?

The Dubai Transport Company Operates a taxi service from Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse. The taxi drop-off and pick up point is located outside the Meydan Grandstand.

Where is Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse located?

Located at the heart of Dubai and at the prime horseracing district of the UAE, Meydan Racecourse is easily accessible via major roads and expressways.

Coming from Dubai
From the Sheikh Zayed Road, please take Exit D69 from the 2nd interchange and turn left onto Al Meydan Road and follow the signs to Meydan Racecourse.

Coming from Abu Dhabi
From the Sheikh Zayed Road, please take Exit E92 from the interchange and turn right onto Al Meydan Road, and follow the signs to Meydan Racecourse.
